Area shops sell fishing licenses, plus more equipment, lures and flies than you could ever imagine.
Four-season fishing
Springtime brings hefty Steelhead beginning in Mid - February thru April, while summer provides a bountiful supply of Salmon, Walleye, Pike, Trout and panfish galore. Come fall, you'll find Brown Trout and King Salmon making their annual runs in the Platte and Betsie Rivers, while winter means excellent ice fishing opportunities on the inland lakes.
